These thin and delicate handmade snowflake ornaments are created by the slip casting process. Each one is then carefully pulled from the mold and cleaned. The fronts are glazed in a shiny clear and then fired a third time with mother of pearl luster that has been hand painted. The backs are unglazed porcelain. A candy cane stripe twine is strung through the snowflake to use for hanging.
