These thin handmade snowflake ornaments are created by slip casting process. Each one is then carefully pulled from the mold and cleaned. The fronts are glazed in a shiny clear. Once glazed the piece is hand painted with 22k gold or silver luster accents and then fired a third time. The backs are unglazed porcelain. A twine is strung through the snowflake to use for hanging.
