This porcelain jack-o-lantern starts out as a wheel thrown from that I trap the air inside. The air trapped form is then sculpted and freehand carved. The faces are 100% original creations of my own and each has a slightly unique character and expression. The stem is pulled by hand, attached, and carved with details. The pumpkin is fired 3 times; first bisqued, then glazed in a shiny gloss black, then hand painted with Platinum luster and fired a third and final time.

Your jack-o-lanterns should be kept away from extreme heat or cold to avoid thermal shock. Flameless battery tea lights or votives are recommended.
