These elegant handmade porcelain ornaments are slip cast to be light and ready for my delicate decoration. Each and every ornament is lovingly hand decorated and glazed one by one, making each unique from the next. After bisque firing the ornaments are glazed and fired to 2,232 degrees in an electric kiln. Next, the ornaments are hand-painted with real gold or platinum lusters and fired a third time. Ornaments with Mother of Pearl are then painted and fired a fourth time. Each ornament comes on a wind-in ornament hook to keep them secure on real or faux branches.
