These wheel-thrown decorative porcelain trees are glazed with a sugar matte white glaze that has a beautiful satiny pearl quality. This tree was first thrown on the pottery wheel, then hand carved to add texture. Finally each little branch was hand cut and bent outward ever so gently. After the tree is bisque fired and glaze fired, it goes through a third and final firing to fuse the 22K gold or Silver lusters on the tips of the branches. These trees can be lit up for a soft glow through the cutouts. Great for a mantel or table or to add to your holiday decor scenes.
