Quarantini: Tropical Empress

These recipes were originally created in conjunction with my article Marvelous Martini’s which was originally published in the May/June 2019 issue of Pottery Making Illustrated, which featured my process for creating my 2 part porcelain martini cups. I thought it was the perfect time to release the recipes separately, so you can enjoy while you’re practicing self-isolation and social distancing. Tropical Empress

1 ½oz Empress 1908 Gin
1oz Gin
½oz  Blue Curacao
1oz Filtered Coconut Water 

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into martini glass. 

Garnish: sugared(optional) edible flowers. Try with tropical fruit like pineapple or lychee. 

Tasting Notes: simple combination of ingredients for a clean, light beverage that highlights all the individual ingredients.
